We are located in pristine bushland but there has been some clearing of trees over the years. We strive to show, and allow people to experience this wilderness with as little impact as possible. We will be looking to raise much needed funds for the Serving and Ex-Serving military veteran community. Many veterans in the Australian community are suffering from all kinds of varying medical issues. ‘OUR TASK’ is to provide mateship, camaraderie, and like minded people to help these veterans in the community. We achieve this through our ‘Visit a Vet program, setting up a drop in Veterans Assistance Centre VAC and setting up a Veterans Retreat VR
We are hoping to secure funding to continue our work with rescuing and saving cats and kittens from the street.
We are fundraising to help pay for an upgrade of the Mapleton Memorial Park. Specifically the money will be used to purchase the plaques that will be displayed on the memorial. It is proposed that the path we intend to construct will be used to acknowledge students of the Mapleton State School that have joined one of the Services since leaving school. A small plaque with the name of each student that joins a Service will be installed on the outer edge of the path.

We are an islands based community in the Southern Moreton Bay Islands off Brisbane, Queensland, Australia and we have a high demographic of seniors and those with a disability.
