Across the world we're approving planting sites with farmers to capture carbon in their soils and repair our planet. These are just some of the next planting sites we have listed while others are being vetted and approved.

Tree Planting in Zambia

Tree Planting in Zambia

Zambia
EcoForce Global has chosen to partner with farmers and communities across Zambia because it represents both great environmental need and immense potential for regeneration. Zambia’s diverse landscapes ranging from savannah grasslands to fertile river valleys have been deeply affected by deforestation, soil erosion, and changing rainfall patterns. These challenges have made it harder for local farmers to grow crops, maintain livestock, and sustain healthy ecosystems.

By working directly with Zambian farmers, EcoForce Global is supporting large-scale tree planting programs that restore degraded land, protect watersheds, and create long-term sources of shade, food, and income. Each tree planted contributes to rebuilding soil health, stabilizing the climate, and improving biodiversity across farming regions.

Zambia’s farmers are ready to lead the way in environmental restoration, and EcoForce Global is proud to stand beside them helping to grow stronger farms, greener landscapes, and more resilient rural communities.

Zambia’s farmers are facing growing challenges as the impacts of climate change intensify. Prolonged droughts, shifting rainfall patterns, and extreme heat events are placing immense pressure on rural communities that rely on agriculture for their livelihoods. Once predictable wet and dry seasons have become erratic, making it difficult for farmers to plan crops, sustain livestock, and secure food and income. At the same time, widespread deforestation driven by the demand for charcoal, expansion of farmland, and population growth has stripped the land of vital tree cover. Without trees, soils lose their nutrients and structure, water evaporates faster, and biodiversity declines. This vicious cycle leaves farmers even more vulnerable to drought, flooding, and declining productivity. By partnering with farmers in Zambia, EcoForce Global aims to turn this challenge into opportunity. Our tree planting initiatives will help restore degraded land, capture and store carbon, improve soil health, and create natural shade and wind protection for crops and livestock. Trees also enhance water retention and recharge groundwater, helping communities adapt to a changing climate. Tree planting is more than an environmental action it’s an investment in Zambia’s agricultural future and the wellbeing of its people. Together with local farmers, we can regenerate the land, build resilience, and create lasting environmental and economic benefits for generations to come.

KABIAN FARM

KABIAN FARM

Zambia
I kabolwe mwansa kawamya and my wife bibian acquired this land in 2018 from the chief, and we have 140 plants of lemons, 5 pig 3 turkeys and 10 than 10 plants of MORINGA trees. Together with our 5 children our vision is not to cut all indigenous trees and we plant trees like lemons and moringa in the area we are not using. We embrace regenerative agriculture techniques because it leaves healthier and more productive farm for the future and the health of the planet by capturing more carbon than we produce.

This project is very important to me and my family cause it will not only be our source of income but also provide solutions to our planet.
